DHRA, 402 Automotive and Quartermile from now on in joint Drachten production.
At the start of the 2017 drag race season, there are major changes for the events at the Drachten Airport. Where in the last couple of years DHRA and Quartermile took each three events per season, in 2017, a series of four events will be jointly organized. During these four events, both the bikes and the cars will run their championship: NK pro drag race motorcycles under the auspices of the KNMV, pro drag race cars under KNAF and a Dutch championship street legal cars.
In the start grid, the crew of DHRA and the Quartermile crew will jointly organize the races, where 402 Automotive will take on the role of promotor. 402 Automotive will take on marketing and communication and will complement some of the four events with theme events like All American Cars and Bugfest (Kevers).
There will be four events which will take place from the originally scheduled six events. To mark the new start there is a new event name selected : Fast Show, powered by DHRA and Quartermile.

In addition, NK Street Legal Dragracen will be revived: all four rounds count towards the championship. In addition, a new design for a European Championship Street Legal Dragraces will be launched.
This collaboration immediately calls upon all Pro and Street legal racers to support all four rounds and to attend and participate as much as possible. This is crucial for the exploitation of the competition in Drachten and for the future.
The aim is to reach a new organization that will run the Drachten races during the season. Last year, Quartermile and DHRA already collaborated in a new operating foundation for the airport.

Both organizations applied different rates and from the 1st of May event the following rates are set:
Street legal cars and bikes
Up to one week before the event, drivers can participate at the rate of EURO 100, – (including two weekend entry tickets). This applies only in the pre-sale! Starting May 8, the rate will rise to EURO 125, -.
Drivers who have already registered at a higher rate than EURO 100 at Quartermile get the overpaid amount returned by sending a mail with bank account number.

At all four events in Drachten you can ride for EDRS. From the May and September round, the best result will be included.
Pro Auto & Motor
Up to one week before the event, riders can participate at the rate of EURO 200, – (including four weekly tickets). This applies only in the pre-sale! Starting May 8, the rate will rise to EURO 225, –
